New home builders in the Houston TX area typically give a      12 month warranty on the entire house including foundation, structure, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, water heater, and appliances.

Having your new home inspected before the warranty expires makes since because it will provide you with a list of items in need of repair.  You can then give this list to the builder and have them make repairs. 

Don't let your builder's 1 year warranty expire without having it inspected. This is your last chance to have the builder make repairs.​

ISSUES IDENTIFIED 

Inspect TEXAS has seen the following issues while performing 12 month builders warranty inspection.

  • Leaking roofs and windows

  • Cracks in wall and ceiling drywall

  • Cracks in brick walls

  • Binding doors and windows

  • Loose floor tiles

  • Loose bathroom and kitchen tiles

  • Problems with HVAC

  • Problems with appliances and water heater

  • etc...
